Stir-Fried Pork Belly with Onions | Twice-cooked pork

Today I will share a recipe “stir-fried with onions”, this is an ordinary Chinese dish, also called twice-cooked pork (Hui Guo Pork). I used pork belly for this dish, which is fat but not greasy. The sauce of the twice-cooked pork is the key. A little white sugar can be added for freshness, and some Sichuan bean paste can be added in order to remove the smell.

1. Cut onions, and red peppers into pieces.

3. Add light soy sauce, salt and sugar to a small bowl.

4. Pour peanut oil into the pan and pour pork belly slices until the oil comes out.

5. Stir-fry the meat until the edges are slightly curled. Pour chopped green onions, ginger shreds, Sichuan bean paste and stir-fry for a while.

  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 green pepper
  • 2 slices of ginger

  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp peanut oil
  • 1 tsp sugar

Notes

After adding Sichuan bean paste, stir-fry quickly to prevent sticking to the pan. When boiled raw pork belly, you can add a little cooking wine and ginger slices. If you like , you can add Some dried chilies.
