1. Prepare the ingredients, a large piece of beef, and five spices.

3. Add water to the pot, add peppercorns, star anise, cinnamon, ginger, oyster sauce, sugar, light soy sauce, dried chilies, 1 tablespoon salt and 3 tablespoons cooking wine and bring to boil.
4. Wash the marinated beef slices, pour into the pot, add the five-spice powder.
5. After cooking for 20 minutes, turn off the heat and let the beef soak in the soup overnight.
6. Place the beef and spices on the grill. Bake at 70 degrees for 6 hours.
