Ingredients
  

  • 150 g peanuts
  • 250 g celery
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 30 peppercorns
  • 2 star anise
  • a little MSG
  • moderate oil and salt

Instructions
 

  • 1. Soak the peanuts in the water for about 2 hours.

    2. Add water to the pot, add a little salt, 15 peppercorns, 1 star anise and peanuts, simmer for 15 minutes after boiling. Then take peanuts out of the pot and set aside.

    3. Once the water's boiling, we're gonna parboil the celery. Add a little salt and a few drops of oil, cook until the color of the celery becomes darker, take them out of the pot and cool in cold water.

Notes

When blanching celery, adding a little salt and a few drops of oil to the hot water will make the celery greener. Put it in cold water immediately to keep the celery crisp and tender, and the color will not turn yellow.
